Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

By applying to and participating in the Vets Tactical Affiliate Program (“Program”), you agree to the following terms.

1. Enrollment & Approval

Applications are reviewed manually. We approve affiliates at our sole discretion and may decline or remove anyone at any time. You must be 18 or older and legally permitted to promote firearm-accessory products in your jurisdiction.

2. Commission & Customer Discount

  • Approved affiliates receive a unique discount code. Customers who use it receive 10% off their order.
  • You earn a 15% commission on the order subtotal of sales made with your code or referral link.
  • Commission is calculated on the product subtotal after the customer discount and excludes shipping and taxes.
  • Commission is earned only on completed, paid orders that are not refunded, cancelled, or charged back.

3. Tracking & Attribution

Sales are attributed by your personal discount code and/or your referral link. Referral-link clicks are tracked for a 60-day window. Code-based sales are attributed whenever the code is used.

4. Payouts

  • Commissions are paid via PayPal. You are responsible for providing and maintaining an accurate PayPal email.
  • Payouts are issued monthly for commissions that have cleared the return-hold period.
  • A 30-day hold applies to each commission to account for returns and refunds.
  • Minimum payout threshold is $50; balances below the threshold roll over to the next period.
  • You are an independent contractor, not an employee, and are solely responsible for any taxes on commissions earned. U.S. affiliates earning $600 or more in a calendar year may receive a 1099.

5. How You May Promote

Allowed: honest reviews and original content on channels you own or control (social media, YouTube, blog, your own email list), using the product images and videos we provide.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Bid on or use our brand or trademark terms (“Vets Tactical,” “Cupolster,” or close variants) in paid search or paid ads
  • Post your code or links on coupon/deal aggregator or cashback sites
  • Make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims, especially about firearms law, safety, or product capability
  • Spam (email, comments, forums, DMs) or use any deceptive or cookie-stuffing tactics
  • Use your own code on your own purchases (self-referral)
  • Represent yourself as an employee or official spokesperson of Vets Tactical, or speak on the company’s behalf

7. Required Disclosure

You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship in line with FTC guidelines on every promotional post (e.g., “#ad,” “affiliate,” or “paid partnership”). This protects both of us.

8. Legal & Platform Compliance

You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable firearms laws and with the advertising and content policies of any platform you use. Vets Tactical is not responsible for content you publish.

9. Brand Assets

We may provide logos, images, and video for your use in promoting our products. You may not alter our logo or trademarks. This limited license ends when your participation in the Program ends.

10. Termination

Either party may end this relationship at any time for any reason. On termination, we will honor commission earned on legitimate, qualifying sales prior to termination. Commissions tied to fraud, abuse, or violation of these terms may be withheld or reversed, and we may close the associated account and code.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Continued participation after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated by email where reasonably possible.

12. Relationship of the Parties

Participation in the Program does not create an employment, partnership, agency, or joint-venture relationship. You participate as an independent contractor.

13. Platform Rules & Firearm Content

You are responsible for following the content and advertising policies of every platform you post on. Firearm-content rules vary by platform and change often, what one platform allows, another may not. As a guide:

  • Instagram and X (Twitter): generally permit firearm imagery in organic posts. Showing the Cupolster in use with a firearm is typically fine.
  • TikTok: heavily restricts firearm content. You may still promote the Cupolster on TikTok, but you must do so by talking about the product and its features without showing a real firearm or a blue/training (inert) gun in the video.
  • When in doubt, check the platform’s current policy or ask us before posting.

Repeated violations, or any conduct that causes your account or the Vets Tactical brand to be penalized, demonetized, or removed by a platform, may result in removal from the Program.
